This is the ultimate Adventure!
Using Reindeer as pack animals to carry the bulk of our gear we’ll trek for five days to a week through the remote highlands of Arctic Sweden.
The Reindeer will carry our group equipment such as the tents, our food and our traditional lavu (teepee tent). Participants will carry their own backpack with personal clothing, sleeping bag and pad. Our packs usually weighs between 20-35 pounds ... depending on how much you are willing to leave behind!
Through out the trip our local Saami guides will teach us about their way of life, prepare traditional foods and take us fishing along pristine mountain lakes and streams.
Our friend Lennart Pittja (reindeer owner and outdoor guide) is leading these trips. He is also in charge of the unique Reindeer Spring Migration trip (a winter camping trip) where you can help the Saami people herd the reindeer back into the mountains. For more information, dates and prices please call or email Crossing Latitudes and we will help you get in touch with Lennart.

Packing or herding reindeer is truly unique and wild experiences!
