This is the ultimate Combo-Adventure!

First Reindeer trekking and then coastal Sea kayaking! Using Reindeer as pack animals to carry the bulk of our gear we’ll start with 5 days of trekking through the remote highlands of Arctic Sweden.

The Reindeer will carry our group equipment such as the tents, our food and our traditional lavu (teepee tent). Participants will carry their own backpack with personal clothing, sleeping bag and pad. Our packs usually weighs between 20-35 pounds ... depending on how much you are willing to leave behind.

Through out the trip our local Saami guides will teach us about their way of life, prepare traditional foods and take us fishing along pristine mountain lakes and streams.

After our mountain trek and a night at a local guest house (for showers and dinner) we'll cross the Norwegian border to Narvik and Tysfjord - where our kayaks are waiting.

We will spend the next 5 days paddling along the Salten Coast. Here, white sand beaches and a dramatic coastline beckon to be explored. Clear azul waters, reminiscent of the Caribbean, allow you to view fish and other sea life at depth right from your kayak.

With the Coastal Range as your backdrop and the Lofoten Islands forming the western horizon you’re literally paddling inside a 360 degree panorama of glacially sculpted granite peaks.

No previous experience is needed - just an adventurous spirit! We will help you become comfortable in the mountains with the reindeer and we will help you become a confident paddler!
