First Aid Course for KIDS!
New Dates will come!
This First Aid course is for kids who like to swim, bike, run, raft, ski, climb, kayak, roll ... and might get hurt! The course is for kids age 10-15. Our goal is to teach basic First Aid skills so you will know what to do if there is an accident. We will do scenarios where you get to play "patient" and "rescuer" and actually take care of some one who is bleeding, hurt or getting really cold. We promise you will learn lots while having tons of fun and gaining confidence in doing the right thing! Call us for more information.
If you are not ready for a full Wilderness First Aid course - How about a CPR course? Sudden cardiac arrest can happen to anyone at any time. Many people appear healthy with no known heart disease. Effective chest compressions provided immediately after sudden cardiac arrest, can double a person’s chance of survival. For information about American Heart Associations CPR courses in Bozeman, Montana please contact Lena at Crossing Latitudes.
Next CPR Course: New dates will come shortly. $35.00 per person.

With more than 110,000 graduates around the world, the Wilderness Medicine Institute of NOLS (WMI of NOLS) defines the standards in wilderness medicine training. The goal of WMI is to provide the highest quality education and information for the recognition, treatment, and prevention of wilderness emergencies.
The WMI curriculum focuses on medicine for times when resources are scarce, there is no help on the way, and you have to make your own decisions. Crossing Latitudes is hosting WMI courses around the world. All courses taught by WMI of NOLS instructors.

Wilderness First Aid is different from the Red Cross or urban first aid. Focus is on initial and prolonged care for a patient in the backcountry. WMI of NOLS is internationally recognized as the leading school teaching wilderness first aid.
