This trip combines a warm water paddling experience with a rich immersion into the fascinating culture of Croatia.
During the trip we base out of a small family owned guesthouse on the Elafiti Islands. These islands remain unscathed from the Balkan Wars of the early 1990's and are free of commercial development.
Our trips start and end in Dubrovnik where the historic Old City is a must see!
Known for their fruit orchards, pebble beaches, 16th century churches and monasteries, the Elafiti Islands are a serene and unique get-away.
From each of our island bases we'll venture on a series of day paddling trips to explore adjacent islands and parts of the mainland coast. Each day we'll have opportunities to swim, bicycle, enjoy local cuisine and develop paddling skills.
A great aspect of this warm water trip is that you can spend as much time in the water as you do on it. You'll want to keep your snorkeling gear handy in your kayak to take full advantage of the crystal clear waters of the Adriatic Sea.
Our staff loves to teach technical paddling skills so if your dream is to learn how to brace (support strokes) and to perform an Eskimo Roll - we are there to help you make it happen!
The warm water is perfect for practising your assisted and self rescues.
On the Islands of Sipan and Lopud there are numerous great dirt road and trails to explore as well. The area is lush and the views are fantastic!
Kalos Orisate! Welcome! Once again Tim and Lena Conlan will lead this great warm water trip!
