This is simply one of the best decisions I've ever made. I was a little nervous as it was the first trip abroad I've done entirely on my own but I needn't have worried as I was made to feel at home from the moment I arrived and met "the staff". Whilst the itinery was relatively fixed there was a flexibility available to other things where possible and nothing seemed too much trouble. The Lofoten scenery was beautiful, the people friendly and outgoing and the wildlife impressive. Above all, it was great fun to be with likeminded people who shared my love of the outdoor life, and with tremendous local knowledge and expertise. You guys did an awesome job, and we really enjoyed every bit of the trip. Like I said, it wasn't like you were guiding a trip- you were sharing it! We loved every minute, and appreciated all of the extra effort you put into making it run smoothly. (I particularly liked the chocolate bars!)

Our trip with Crossing Latitudes to the Lofoten Islands was, in a word, extraordinary. The scenery was truly spectacular, the kayaking equipment was top notch, the food was excellent and, most importantly, the Conlans were ideal leaders. Tim and Lena are extremely knowledgeable about Scandinavia, have great senses of humor and made sure that we missed nothing while at the same time letting us move at a reasonable pace.
