Tim Nordström is passionate about equipping people with the skills and confidence to handle emergencies in the outdoors. With over 20 years of experience living in Abisko, he has built a career dedicated to wilderness safety and adventure.
He worked as a field instructor for NOLS, leading hiking and mountaineering expeditions in Sweden and North America. His time as a ski patroller and avalanche technician in Abisko provided him with extensive hands-on experience in injury management and avalanche safety. Additionally, he ran his own guiding company in Abisko, sharing the beauty of the wilderness with countless adventurers.
Tim is a graduate of the Mountain & Wilderness Leadership program at Malung Folkhögskola, which has been the foundation of his outdoor expertise. Now based in Sunderbyn, Luleå, he is pursuing a medical degree at Umeå University, combining his passion for wilderness safety with advanced medical knowledge.
He looks forward to sharing his expertise through first aid courses tailored for outdoor and wilderness environments.
